Michael is a journalist in upstate New York, a job he’s enjoyed for 30 years. He’s written about CEOs, entrepreneurs, developers, politicians, artists, homeowners, hobbyists and more. He’s been a reporter at the Albany Business Review since 2005. You can read his work by clicking or tapping here.

His writing includes two self-published books. The latest, “Italy to America: My Family’s Immigration Journey,” tells the story of his parents and two oldest siblings leaving a small town in southern Italy in 1963, boarding a steamship for the trip to New York City, and overcoming many challenges to build a new life in the United States.

Michael grew up in Troy, New York, the youngest of four children. He graduated from Ithaca College in 1991 and has worked at newspapers in the Albany region throughout his career. He and his wife, Lori, live in Clifton Park with their twin 12-year-old daughters, Emma and Sophia. They love to play in every season.
